Media wears out. Softener resin stops softening, sand filters pass dirt, carbon stops taking out chlorine and smell, and iron media lets iron through. We empty the vessel, check the distributor and laterals, refill fresh media in graded layers, backwash, rinse and test the outlet. For homes, apartments, factories and RO plant pre-treatment, on any brand of vessel.
Replace the media, keep the vessel. If the FRP vessel and valve are sound, fresh media brings the filter back for a fraction of a new unit.
Each filter tells you in its own way. If you see one of these after a proper backwash or regeneration, the media is the likely cause.
Scale returns, soap does not lather, salt use goes up.
Muddy water passes, or the cartridges after it choke in days.
Chlorine smell, odour or colour after the carbon.
Iron comes through even after a backwash.
Grains in the water, a broken lateral or a damaged distributor.
The sticker on the vessel (for example 1054, 1354 or 2162) and a photo of the valve tell us most of what we need to quote.
Cation exchange resin that swaps hardness for sodium and regenerates with salt.
Water softeners →Rough sand and graded silica gravel as the support bed, with filter sand above.
Coconut shell activated carbon for chlorine, odour and organic matter.
MnO2-coated catalytic media that catches dissolved iron and manganese.
Iron removal →Sand and carbon vessels ahead of an RO plant, with cartridges and antiscalant.
RO plant AMC →We recently replaced the softener and sand filter media at a food factory in Dakshina Kannada, with the media itemised on the invoice and an e-way bill for the delivery. Every job follows the same steps.
Grains coming out of the taps usually mean a broken lateral or distributor at the bottom of the vessel. We check both every time a vessel is open.
WhatsApp a photo of the vessel sticker and the valve, and tell us what the filter does. We reply with the media, the kg and a quote.
Vessel sticker, valve, and the problem you see.
Which media, how many kg, and whether the distributor needs parts.
An itemised quote, then the job at your site.
Vessel size, what it filters and where it is. We call you within 24 hours.
If the problem comes back right after a proper backwash or regeneration: hard water from a softener, dirty water from a sand filter, smell after a carbon filter, or yellow water after an iron remover.
Yes. Media replacement works on any brand, as long as the FRP vessel and the valve are in good condition. We check both first.
By the kg of each media your vessel takes, plus labour. The quote lists every media line separately.
The vessel is bypassed while we work, so water keeps flowing untreated for those hours.
Yes: a GST invoice from Puryn International with the media itemised, a delivery challan and an e-way bill where the delivery needs one.
It depends on the water and the use, so we go by the signs and the outlet test rather than a fixed date.
You get two lab reports: a pre-treatment report before we recommend anything and a post-treatment report after installation. Both, worth ₹2,000, are included in the price of your system. You pay ₹1,000 when we take the first sample, and it is adjusted when you order. For example, on a ₹65,000 system you pay the remaining ₹64,000.
Send us a photo of the vessel. We quote the media and do the job on site.
